History
    Founded in 1982 by Martin Costa while he was the house DJ at Lizzie’s in Fall River, M.C. Music Productions quickly established a name for itself as “ The Not Your Ordinary DJ Company”. Martin was the first person to bring party props to each event and secure fun, outgoing, interactive talent as mobile disc jockeys. With increasing popular demand the company quickly grew to 10 mobile disc jockeys and was one of the first companies to offer Karaoke in Southern New England.
           
     In April of 2003 M.C. Music Productions added full time General Manager Michael Cordeiro to expand growth, strengthen existing client relations, develop new markets and secure new talent. Using the skills learned during his years of working in the nightclub and bar industry along with a Bachelor’s Degree from Johnson & Wales University in Entertainment & Event Management, Michael was able to expand M.C. Music  Productions role as the leader and innovator in local mobile entertainment.

    July of 2008 brought many changes to M.C Music Productions with addition of Photography and Videography to our services, the retirement of Martin Costa and the transference of M.C. Music Productions to its General Manager Michael Cordeiro. Mr. Costa now acts as a consultant for M.C. Music productions and stays active in local charities and the Karaoke scene.

Future
    M.C. Music Productions will continue offering diverse and unique services to its clients including cutting edge sound, lighting, video, photography and in the near future limousines and live musicians. We will continue to support local charities and maintain an active presence in the DJ industry through our membership and roles in organizations such as N.A.M.E. (National Association of Mobile Entertainers) and SNAPDJs (the Southern New England Association of Professional Disc Jockeys).
